Project Summary 

we developed a delivery methodology along with a strategy for procurement, which involved identifying a minimum of 2 potential suppliers for the significant and more defined elements of the project, ie. window supply and installation, window/asbestos removal and asbestos monitoring. 

Potential contractors were requested to submit a quotation on the supply and installation of windows after many site visits by potential constructors. Then Tender evaluation from the quotation received is carried out by GPM staff and recommendations are made to Uniting to provide window installation.

Uniting 

The contract involves the removal and replacement of identified windows at the Uniting office (McCulloch St, Bairnsdale).  Project invloes Provide safety fencing, Erect scaffolding as required, Remove and dispose of existing (identified) windows and mastic seal, Supply, delivery, installation and glazing of commercial aluminium windows and doors. Make all necessary repairs.
