Gippsland Freight Infrastructure Master Plan
Project Summary
A Fright Infrastructure Master Plan was prepared to set the action and infrastructure necessary to enable a more effective movement of the wide Gippsland fright task. This is a revised replacement of the previous Master plan from 2013 which includes identifying and prioritising investments in critical infrastructure, regulatory reforms, improved access to skill training, and job opportunity and planning to ensure that the communities in Gippsland can accommodate the future freight task.

GPM has prepared a detailed Freight Master Plan based on the study and research on pressure on existing transport network, enhancing the functionality, considering urban expansion and congestion. we proposed a design of an appropriate planner and operated transport network that is vertically integrated and able to satisfy a diverse array of internal and extermination movements.
GPM has also undertaken a stakeholder engagement strategy plan to engage with regulatory stakeholder engagement and industry stakeholder engagement.
